6C learning says you need to pay attention to 6 areas for succesful learning projects:
Concept - Computer Infrastructure - Content - Context - Collaboration - Coordination.
How you fill in each area is up to you and up to the task at hand. The framework is freely available under Creative Commons license. It came out of my MBA thesis back in 2005 but has been updated since to correspond with my evolving thinking.
Here is a short introduction via 6 questions to ask yourself:
How you fill in each area depends on you, your organisation and the task at hand. To give you some inspiration, use the slidedeck below.
Here are the goals of the 6C learning framework, as it was published on the original site. I don't use that many words these days, but for what it's worth...
The aim of 6C learning is ...
... to provide a framework to successfully design, implement, evaluate and sustain (e-)learning projects here and now. ... to focus on learning delivery in a pragmatic, down to earth way over the entire lifetime of the project. ... to list 6 areas you need to implement. How you implement them is up to you. We suggest best practices, indicate the 'state of the art' for each of the 6 dimensions and many illustrations and case studies. ... to act as a communication device between the different stakeholders of learning and information management in the organisation and the extended enterprise. ... to inspire you with many illustrations of learning innovation so that you can take the next step in your learning transformation journey
You might find some more useful material in the library. Keep in mind that the framework used to be different so in older documents you'll see things like 'coaching' which has now become 'collaboration'. Good luck!
